The first heat of Mello will be streamed live on SVT Play. It will be available to watch worldwide. It will also remain online for catch-up viewing but only for the weekend. On Monday, it will go offline until after the fourth heat.

The opening show will see seven acts perform. As always, the results will be determined solely bygd the viewing public through a mixture of app and phone votes. However, there will be some small tweaks as to how the voting will work.
