Compared to the Kodiaq, the Karoq offers more compact dimensions. Bei normaler Anordnung der Rücksitze bietet der Kofferraum des KAROQ schon ein stattliches Fassungsvermögen von Litern. Vier mittelgroße Koffer passen problemlos hinein. Dank des praktischen VarioFlex-Systems kann man den Stauraum des SUV deutlich erhöhen. Wenige Handgriffe reichen bereits aus, um die Rücksitze bis zu 15 Zentimeter vor oder zurückzuschieben. Die Entriegelung erfolgt über einen kleinen Griff unter dem Sitzkissen. Sind die Sitze ganz nach vorn geschoben, passen Liter Gepäck in den Kofferraum.
Doch damit nicht genug: Hinter den Rücksitzen befindet sich am unteren Ende der Lehne ein weiterer Hebel. okänt ihm lassen sich die Sitze entriegeln und bei waagerecht eingestellten Lehnen nach vorne klappen. So entsteht ein Laderaum von Liter. Um ein ungewolltes Zurückklappen der Sitze zu verhindern, werden sie mit einem Sicherungshaken an der Führungsstange der vorderen Kopfstützen gesichert.

Safety and security
When it was tested by the safety experts at Euro NCAP the Karoq scored the full five stars. The thing is, that was back in and the rating has since expired.
Even so, while the tests have become more stringent since then, the Karoq should still be a very safe car. It comes with plenty of standard safety equipment, including automatic emergency braking (AEB), a drowsiness monitor, lane assist and traffic-sign assist.
If you go for SE L or Sportline trim, you can also add the Travel Assist package option, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist with traffic jam assist and emergency braking for adaptive cruise control. Blind-spot monitoring is reserved for the Sportline’s optional Travel Assist Plus package.
